Once the settings are set though, the experience is great.Ī big thing I'm impressed about is the support team. It took a bit of tweaking to adjust the settings to get the best experience. The software was pretty straight forward and made plenty of sense. Entering a cockpit for the first time in DCS World sure is an overwhelming experience. I ran through many scenarios and can say that these somewhat rival some of my high-end headphones when tuned properly. Right now, the flight sim supports both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets. The amount of bass and clarity is highly unexpected when considering the design. The headphones were glitchy at first, but switching the headphones to 7.1 through Windows 10's sound settings fixed them. If you have the hardware to run it, I can say that it makes a huge difference coming from a headset with a much small resolution. What was once a mess of pixels in the distance on the Rift S is now a very clear image. At a time when you couldn’t leave your house, Flight Simulator allowed you to travel the world, and fly over everything from the pyramids to the Great Wall of China. I can say, without a doubt, that this was the absolute best experience that I have had with a headset before.įirst off, the display is amazing when cranked up to the max.

It launched SteamVR when I toggled VR mode on and I didnt have to download anything special for it. I am using the game pass version with a Quest 2 and it worked flawlessly over virutal desktop. I only owned a Razer HDK and Oculus Rift S before moving to the 8K DMAS headset. VR will be available for Windows Store/GamePass version too.
